Champ Tung is a photographer based in Kuala Lumpur who does not want his photography to be defined as Kuala Lumpur-based. Therefore, his first photobook, Ying Ji, captures China’s everyday life through mundane moments. Besides his distinctive love for monochrome, his photography is synonymous with capturing subjects up close, often using a wide-angle lens. He hopes that, while looking at his photographs, readers/spectators will experience the same adrenaline he felt when taking them and experience how he traces the shadows.
